La Bela Trifolera was born and has grown in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, as an event traditionally combined with the evocative parade of allegorical floats from the surrounding villages. Since the post-war period, it has stood out as a unique event on the Italian scene: a novelty capable of attracting great attention and participation, helping to enhance the image and charm of the city of Alba. Even today, it represents one of the most anticipated highlights within the rich calendar of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, preserving its deep connection with tradition and local culture.
During the evening, the contestants—selected and presented by the different boroughsof Alba—walk the runway embodying the various facets of the event.
The participants wear elegant medieval costumes that evoke the historical roots of the area, “Trifolera” outfits inspired by the symbolic figure of the truffle hunter, and finally refined evening gowns.
A moment of spectacle and great engagement, where tradition, elegance, and local identity blend into an event capable of moving the audience year after year.
