The Tuber magnatum Picco and the finest products of the Aosta Valley will take center stage in an exclusive gastronomic event hosted at the Stella di Pila Panoramic Bistrot, one of the most spectacular new destinations in the Alps.
Located at an altitude of 2,723 meters and reachable in just a few minutes via the panoramic cable car from Aosta, Stella di Pila offers breathtaking views of the highest Alpine peaks, from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn, from Monte Rosa to Gran Paradiso.
The event celebrates the meeting of two extraordinary Italian gastronomic heritages: the Alba White Truffle and the finest products of the Aosta Valley. A day dedicated to discovering taste, territory, and conviviality.
The experience will begin with a Truffle Sensory Analysis, led by a Judge from the National Truffle Studies Center, who will guide guests through the characteristics, aromas, and unique qualities of the most precious truffle variety. This will be followed by a tasting of iconic Aosta Valley products and DOC Valle d’Aosta Vallée d’Aoste wines, offering a first journey into the authentic flavors of the region.
The highlight of the day will be a convivial lunch, designed to encourage interaction and sharing around the table. Guests will be seated at communal tables in an elegant yet informal atmosphere, where the pleasure of conversation meets the enjoyment of outstanding cuisine.
Lunch will be prepared by Chef Davide Palluda, of the Michelin-starred restaurant All’Enoteca in Canale, which has been a benchmark of Piedmontese gastronomy for more than twenty years. Deeply rooted in tradition and local culture, Chef Palluda’s cuisine will interpret the encounter between Piedmont and the Aosta Valley through a menu dedicated to the finest products of both regions.
The Alba White Truffle will feature prominently in one of the lunch courses, presented in a way that highlights its aromas, complexity, and elegance.
With its large windows overlooking the mountains and its philosophy combining Alpine tradition with gastronomic innovation, Stella di Pila provides the ideal setting for an event that invites guests to slow down, share experiences, and discover the territory through its most authentic flavors.
