Albaromatica is back, now in its 18th edition, entirely dedicated to the discovery of aromatic herbs and spices in their most diverse uses. Also this year the market that colors the city of Alba will be held in Piazza Risorgimento for two consecutive days. The square will be pervaded by aromas of herbs, spices, flavored liqueurs, herbal teas flavored beers and much more.
In addition, educational workshops dedicated to the world of herbs and spices will be organized under the arcades of the Church of San Giovanni, in Piazza Pertinace in Alba.
The event Albaromatica will take place as follows:
- Portico of the Church Giovanni in Piazza Pertinace: from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm on Saturday 7 October and from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm on Sunday 8 October 2023: workshops and educational demonstrations related to herbs and biodiversity by the Associazione Terre della Seta, of the Associazione A.L.T.E.A. and the Onlus e Cooperativa Sociale Progetto Emmaus (only on sunday).
- Piazza Risorgimento: from 17.00 to 19.30 on Saturday 7 October and from 9.30 to 19.30 on Sunday 8 October 2023 exhibition of benches of herbs, spices and similar products.
- Piazza Pertinace: from 9.30 to 19.30 on Sunday 8 October 2023 focaccia and breadsticks baked by the School Arte Bianca di Neive.
Free admission during all the events of the Albaromatica event.
The festival of herbs and spices will be part of the 93rd edition of the International White Truffle Fair of Alba.
