Eyes wide open and minds alert! Start the clue hunt through the streets of the city!
Discovering the history and art of the city of Alba with families, bringing different generations together through play.
The activity takes place on foot in the historic center of Alba and involves walking about one to one and a half kilometers along completely flat city streets.
At the 7 checkpoint stages, it will be sufficient to document your passage with a panoramic photo of the location. At the other 7 riddle stages, you’ll need to photograph a single detail of the location — the solution to the riddle.
Checkpoint 14 is the Church of San Giuseppe, where, after solving the final riddle, you can return the kit and validate your score, receiving all the solution keys.
The hunt has a variable duration (as it is a self-guided activity), typically taking between one and two hours. We recommend picking up the kit at the beginning of the opening hours (you may also return the kit the following day during the Game Desk hours).
WHEN
From 9th October to 7th December 2025, it is possible to collect/return the kit during the Game Desk opening hours:
- Fridays, 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
- Mondays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
LANGUAGES
The kit is available in Italian, English, French, Spanish, and German.
WHERE
The clue hunt takes place with the help of a special kit, which is collected and returned to the Church of San Giuseppe, a once abandoned and now restored place of worship that houses the Cultural Centre of the same name. It is located in Via Vernazza 6, Alba (CN), a few metres from Piazza Risorgimento, the square also known as “del Duomo”, where the Tourist Office, the Town Hall and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo are located.
PRICES
Each kit costs 10 € and can be used by a team of up to 6 people. From the 7th person, 2 or more kits are compulsory.
The price of the kit is reduced to 5 € for the participants of the Alba Sotterranea tours.
