CHEF MANOLO ALLOCHIS
Il Vigneto is a particularly charming restaurant located in a unique panoramic setting, such as that of the Langhe.
Its name, the Vineyard, not only recalls the symbol of the Langhe territory, but summarizes its history: the building that houses it is an old Piedmontese farmhouse built at the beginning of the ‘900 by the Lodali family of Treiso. In 1997 were started renovations that lasted until 2001 transforming the old structure into a restaurant that was named “Il Vigneto” with adjoining rooms. With the arrival of the brothers Rossano and Manolo Allochis, the restaurant is fully located among the most popular accommodation in the province of Cuneo. Focusing on tradition and innovation, is further improved the structure with large outdoor spaces to enjoy the wonderful natural choreography that surrounds it. Also the menu is enriched with scents and flavors of the territory wisely mixed with an unusual skill. Always inspired by tradition, with the addition of some creative ramblings, the dishes of “Il Vigneto” strictly follow the seasonality using local raw materials, with proposals land-sea in the summer and more full-bodied flavors in the winter to best match the famous Alba White Truffle.
