Artisan Food Market

A large pavilion, an “artisan food market”, where the “excellent” companies of the major agro-food sector of the Granda province are presented.

In a special pavilion, Confartigianato Cuneo will present to the big audience of the Fair the “Creatori di Eccellenza” (Creators of Excellence) initiative, a project carried out by the association with the aim of enhancing the craftsmanship of the work of transforming fresh ingredients into quality food, centered in this year on the food sector.
This “square” – a large area of about 300 square meters – will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere typical of a real “market”, with colours, scents and suggestions. Thanks to the stands which are set up as “stalls”, visitors will have the pleasant feeling of walking along the historic market of a city, where quality, surprise, tradition and continuous variety are combined together.
In this location a special area will be set up with a “kitchen” and tables which are meant to become the continuous theatre of experiential and sensory demonstrations related to food through events of show cooking, demonstrations and info workshops.
This “square” will be animated by 12 artisan companies, coming from the most varied sectors of the food industry, who will present their high quality products and, above all, will highlight the peculiarity that distinguishes the craft production and has always been synonymous with that “made in Italy” envied throughout the world. Partners of the event will be Acqua San Bernardo and the “Go Wine” Association.
The experience will focus on high quality food, but isn’t limited to that. Among the various initiatives of “Creatori di Eccellenza”, is taking place a “journey” between crafts and flavors throughout the Granda through twelve dinners (one per month), cooked by as many cooks from the whole province of Cuneo. And it is exactly these cooks, the “standard-bearers” of Cuneese cuisine, who will be the protagonists inside the pavilion with show-cooking and tastings.
