Pantelleria is guest of the International Alba White Truffle Fair as part of the Alba Truffle Show, the area dedicated to meetings and in-depth analyses.

An in-depth moment focusing on the International Festival of Passito Wine of Pantelleria and meditation wines.

PASSITALY is back with a new edition organized by the “Passitaly in the World”association in collaboration with the municipality of Pantelleria and the “Pantelleria heroica” winemakers association with the aim of enhancing the production of natural Passito wine of Pantelleria. An event that will involve all aspects of wine tourism: from the “vite ad alberello” (head-trained bush vines), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to all the other traditional products of the Pantelleria gastronomy, by creating a unique combination with the natural and environmental beauty that this island is able to offer. This fifth edition of Passitaly is presented as an event able to combine culture, tourism, identity and food and wine through a broad vision that transcends local borders and embraces the whole Mediterranean area. Pantelleria has in fact gained a leading position in the wine world thanks to the production of passito and, through this event, is set to intereact with the territories of the Mediterranean which produce sweet wines such as the great Malvasia of the Aeolian Islands, the Amarone of Valpolicella or sweet wines of Piedmont and Tuscany. The attendance of these external wineries at the island’s event shows indeed the ability to give the event a broader view which goes far beyond the geographical boundaries of the islands.
