Il vento e la terra – 80 years of Resistance

In the year of the eightieth anniversary of 8 September 1943, the partisan images of Alba return to the exhibition along with unpublished documents from the precious Archives of Teodoro Bubbio.

The documents of the advisers of 1925, the lists of those sentenced to death in 1944, the request for the surrender of Captain Ballard: a precious story that will accompany us to the roots of the Gold Medal for Military Valor.

Created by the Centro Studi Beppe Fenoglio and strongly desired by the engineer Enzo Demaria, to whom it is dedicated, in the exhibition there will be original photographs from foundations and private archives, the result of the collection of memories by the partisans and their families.

During the weekend openings will be present members of ANPI for further information.

In the week the visits will be reserved for schools (for reservations write to prenotazioni@beppefenoglio22.it); the educational activities are carried out by the Study Center with the support of the Piedmont Region. Specific didactic projects will be activated in collaboration with the Association Futur Alba. The exhibition was curated by the architect Danilo Manassero. Realized in collaboration with ANPI of Alba-Bra, Istituto Storico per la Resistenza di Torino, Associazione Terre Alte; with the contribution of: Comune di Alba, Fondazione CRC – Bando Generale 2023, Fondazione CRT – Bando Esponente 2023, Fondazione CRT – Bando Erogazioni Ordinarie 2021.
