In the heart of Piedmontese Tradition

Confartigianato Imprese Cuneo and Ferrari Specialità Alimentari offer an exclusive workshop to discover the most authentic dishes of Piedmontese tradition.

The classic ‘antipasto alla piemontese’, a timeless triumph of vegetables, crispy and colourful, preserved under glass: a plunge into the past and simplicity in the name of good taste. And then the Robiola d’Alba cream with Cervere leek: a goodness that enhances two great Cuneo products. All paired with GranoPiemonte bread: the short and controlled 100% Piedmontese wheat chain from the field to the table at home (a project of Confartigianato Cuneo, Coldiretti Cuneo and Consorzio Agrario delle Province del Nord Ovest).

The protagonists: Ferrari Specialità Alimentari

The company, based in Cherasco, was founded by Giovanni Ferrari, who started producing extra virgin olive oil in Liguria in 1925. Now it is run by the third generation, already flanked by the fourth, who for some years now has been diversifying production, gathering the typical Ligurian specialities handed down by his paternal grandparents and those from Piedmont. The wide assortment of Piedmontese and Ligurian specialities is produced entirely in-house, with the aim of offering consumers a flavour that is always natural and genuine. Quality is guaranteed by the high level of professionalism employed in the various production phases. With the aim of making the Ferrari brand perceived by the market as a synonym of “excellent” quality, the company directly deals with the distribution of its products on the national territory and on foreign markets. Its wide range of production includes: extra virgin olive oil, flavoured and truffle oils, preserved products in oil and with truffles, sauces and creams for condiments or croutons, egg, vegetable and truffle pasta, whole wheat pasta, spelt pasta, pasta with Enkir wheat, IGP Piedmont hazelnuts.

The ‘Creator of Excellence’ of Confartigianato Cuneo

Ferrari Specialità Alimentari is awarded the ‘Creators of Excellence’ mark of Confartigianato Cuneo.  The Trademark identifies companies that operate with recognised professionalism and specious commercial and professional correctness, relying mainly on manual and artisan work, with respect for the traditions of the territory and the historicity of the processes in their respective areas of business. In particular, the Mark identifies companies that transform and create non-serial processes with a high manual and artisan component and that, through the transformation of raw materials or semi-finished products, create a unique and exclusive end product that is the fruit of the entrepreneur’s ingenuity and inventiveness.
