The Ente Fiera della Nocciola e Prodotti Tipici dell’Alta Langa proposes, for the twelfth edition, the Salotto dei Gusti e dei Profumi in Piazza Risorgimento, in the historic center of Alba.

Inside a charming and elegant exhibition space, with the atmosphere of a refined pastry, the Piedmont Hazelnut I.G.P. of the Langhe and the authentic hills of the Alta Langa will be presented through emotional images, sensory analysis and seminars, stories and moments of traditional music.

The guided tastings “Tasting Experiences” will allow you to tell the Piedmont Hazelnut I.G.P. of the Langhe proposing it in comparison with other types of hazelnuts most used in the processing industry, to give the opportunity to recognize the characteristics of greater sweetness and shelf life, aromatic complexity, intense and persistent taste, which make it “the best in the world”.

Piazza Risorgimento

It is the ancient mediaeval Platea and Roman Forum from which the public streets used to depart: Via principale, Via al Tanaro, Via al San Domenico, Via al Vescovado, Via al Convento di San Francesco, overlooked by the tall Negri tower demolished in 1866. This square represents the historical heart of the city where, among other things, the Duomo stands out, quite imposing with its structure reminiscent of its late-Gothic origins: on the outside visitors can admire the tall bell tower and, inside, various paintings, sculptures and bas-reliefs.
