A unique experience at the heart of the Alba White Truffle Fair: the Cena Insolita takes place on the stage of the Teatro Sociale (Social Theatre) “Giorgio Busca”, transformed for one evening into an exclusive restaurant.
The evening begins with a guided tour of the theatre and continues with a signature dinner, where the Alba White Truffle meets the excellence of contemporary cuisine.

THE CHEF
Diego Rossi, born in Verona in 1985, is the chef and founder of Trippa, the contemporary trattoria in Milan that has helped redefine the language of Italian cuisine by drawing inspiration from its most authentic traditions. After gaining experience in some of Italy’s most prestigious restaurants, including St. Hubertus under Norbert Niederkofler and Ristorante Delle Antiche Contrade, where he earned a Michelin star, he opened Trippa together with Pietro Caroli in 2015.
His cuisine places ingredients, seasonality, and the preservation of Italy’s gastronomic heritage at its core, with a particular focus on offal and traditional regional recipes. Thanks to a distinctive, straightforward, and contemporary style, Diego Rossi is now regarded as one of the leading figures of the new generation of Italian trattoria cuisine.

The Teatro Sociale is one of the most beautiful and historically rich cultural facilities in the city of Alba
It is well-known and kind of unique throughout Europe for its “double” structure, consisting of a historic 19th-century “horseshoe-shaped” hall, a modern hall with stalls and gallery, and a stage located right in the middle.
