Ente Fiera di Alba is a non-profit association that was founded by the Municipality of Alba, the Alba Merchants’ Association and the Giostra delle Cento Torri on 18 July 2003.

The purpose of the Ente Fiera is to carry out activities in the field of organising the Alba White Truffle National Fair, the Vinum National Fair as well as promotional events in the City of Alba.

In 2007, the Fair was recognised as an “international” event, attracting numerous tourists from all over the world to the area: enogastronomic culture has always been the key driving force and attraction.
It was in 2016 that the Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies included the International Alba White Truffle Fair among the 12 main national events, together with Vinitaly, Cibus and the Salone del Gusto.

Since 2010, the Ente Fiera has been organising and promoting the wines of the territory through Vinum, the International Wine Fair of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, by offering tastings of over 550 labels.

The Ente Fiera’s goals are to enhance not only a product, but rather an enogastronomic identity; not only a city, but a whole territory that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Adhering to this standard means taking on significant environmental and social commitments aimed at ensuring a positive impact of the event in its relevant context. This is a gradual but challenging journey, focused on continuous improvement, which will be encouraged in each new edition of the event. The Fair’s Sustainability Policy is based on the Vision and Values that inspire the planning and execution choices of the event.
