📍 Free admission is granted to wheelchair users and one companion. An accessible trackside area is reserved, where wheelchairs can be comfortably positioned. This area does not have fixed seats; however, chairs are provided for companions next to the wheelchairs. As no numbered grandstand seat is occupied, admission is free of charge.

📍 People with disabilities who occupy a seat in the grandstand (without using a wheelchair) are entitled to a reduced-price ticket of €5 in Grandstands 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The same reduced rate also applies to one companion. A reserved numbered seat in the grandstand is included.

Donkey palio and historical parade

The first Sunday in October, in Piazza Senatore Osvaldo Cagnasso, the Donkey Palio is run, the crazy race that sees the city’s nine boroughs compete for the drape. A goliardic day, staged with total respect for the animals, in an arena full of colours, costumes, bravery and loud cheering.

The medieval historical parade precedes and officially opens the day of the Donkey Palio.

Boroughs Bacchanal

During the Boroughs Bacchanal, people in period costumes will welcome you to the old town amidst ancient charms, dancing, music, good food and drink. Two days of re-enactments lived as protagonists, accompanied and followed by the City’ s boroughs that are the key protagonists of Alba’s history. Through the daily actions of the boroughs’ inhabitants, it will be possible to see and touch what life was like in the Middle Ages in Alba, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient times.
