The 2026 International Alba White Truffle Fair reaffirms its role as a leading platform for discussions on environmental, social, and economic sustainability through the Crossed Sustainability and Dawn to Earth projects. The former features multidisciplinary talks bringing together experts to explore issues such as climate change, biodiversity, equity, and food education, with the truffle serving as a symbol of the deep connection between humanity and nature.
The latter highlights the truffle as an ambassador of ethical development by recognizing chefs committed to sustainable practices. In 2026, the award will be presented to Chef Antonio Guida, the two Michelin-starred chef of Ristorante Seta at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Milan. Together with his wife, Luciana Lombardi, he founded the “Fiori Rari” Philanthropic Fund, whose mission is to promote and accelerate scientific research into rare genetic mutations that cause neurocognitive developmental delays and the associated disabilities.
From October 31 to November 6, the Teatro Sociale “G. Busca” in Alba will host Crossed Sustainabilities, a series of events that intertwines gastronomy, culture, art, entertainment, sports, and innovation. The goal is to spark virtuous cross-contaminations and shared reflections on the future of the planet and its communities. Thanks to the collaboration with Paolo Vizzari and the Dogliani TV Festival, the program is enriched with notable guests and content.
On Friday, October 31 at 10:30 AM, the International Alba White Truffle Fair will present the “Dawn to Earth” Award to Enrico Crippa, a visionary chef and advocate of gastronomic sustainability. His cuisine, based on a biodynamic garden with over 400 varieties of vegetables, celebrates seasonality, biodiversity, and the local territory, with a focus on small local producers.
On Sunday, November 2 at 11:00 AM, chef Isabella Potì will lead a talk dedicated to creativity as a driver of cultural and gastronomic sustainability, alongside representatives of UNESCO Creative Cities. Alba, a Creative City for Gastronomy since 2017, will engage in dialogue with other international cities to explore new models of sustainable development.
On Thursday, November 6, social inclusion will take center stage at the theater at 6:30 PM with Il Tortellante from Modena and the Emmaus Cooperative. At 8:30 PM, the Sala Beppe Fenoglio will host a charity dinner featuring handmade tortellini served with Alba White Truffle and 8Pari wine, symbolizing a project that combines flavor, solidarity, and sustainability.

“Keeping sustainability at the core—declined along the three axes of environmental, social, and economic— the 2024 event ‘Sosteibilità Incrociate’ returned in a completely renewed format. It featured chefs and artists in a unique performance orchestrated by gastronomic curator Paolo Vizzari in collaboration with Samuel Romano.
As per tradition, the fair dedicated a space to younger generations: thanks to a project curated by cultural anthropologist Valeria Margherita Mosca, a didactic installation was created to illustrate the evolution of food and nutrition from the Neolithic era to the present day, addressing the theme of biodiversity and its value for the future.”
