With the involvement of Limoges, a French town famous throughout the world for its ceramics and, like Alba, part of the network of UNESCO Creative Cities, in 2019 the project involving large companies in the creation of the “Kit for the Alba White Truffle” was completed.
Actually, the prestigious Maison Raynaud, an important manufacturer of artistic ceramics in Limoges, will create “Pepita”, a precious box designed to present the Alba White Truffle in the best possible way, preserving its aroma and freshness.
Designed by Mariela Schwarz Montiel and inspired by the precious stones and the logo of the International White Truffle Fair, this refined porcelain container represents with its facets the perfect way to tarry and present the most extraordinary jewel of nature.
A sculptural and refined object, but at the same time functional and ergonomic which, together with the “Alba” truffle slicer designed by Ben van Berkel for Alessi and the gloves designed by Patricia Urquiola, completes the offer of design objects, always functional and of high quality, conceived to store, touch and slice the precious truffle.
The objects will be on sale at Sala Beppe Fenoglio inside the Alba White Truffle World Market.
